Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Making people feel and look great, on the inside and out.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. I would have to say my favorite story has to be about a young girl who came to me for facials because her skin was breaking out. After spending many months with her, I found that both young girls and boys who struggle with their skin have such a selfesteem issue due to it. I know for myself, as an adult, I am often self concious when my skin is broken out. I was able to take the time and teach her the proper way to cleanse her skin and help heal any flare-ups. Years later this young woman came back to me with glasses gone, braces off and beautiful skin. She thanked me so much for helping her as a teen and I could not of been happier to know that I was a big part of her growing up!

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. Some exciting developments as of late I would say is the new Shellac manicures. Say good-bye to chips, smudges and dry time and say hello to Shellac. This Revolutionary product applies like a polish, wears flawlessly for 14 days of high gloss and shine. The best part is it helps strengthen your nails from the Keratin in this gel polish and is removed with polish remover so there is no damage to your nails. Cost is $30.
