Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Look for certification. Would you hire someone with out something that proves he knows what they are doing? Certifications to look for are CompTIA A+, Network+, Linux+, MSCP, CISCO CCNA, and others.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. A bit of advice I tell my father all the time. Nothing is free on the internet... and what that means is, a lot of spoof sites and fake companies will offer free software or services, but they are not always free and can lead to identity theft, password compromises, and more.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. A lot of time and money can be saved by being concise with how you explain your issue. Saying your computer won't turn on is kind of general and would be easier for us to assist you if you include any kind of error message you have seen that day, and within the last 2 weeks. Include what operating system, if the system was store bought or custom built and how old it is.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. We pride ourselves on knowledge and expertise! Certified by CompTIA A+, Network+, Linux+, Microsofts MSCA, MSCP, and CISCO's CCNA. We take time to keep up to date with the latest and greatest technologies and methods. We excel in Virus/Malware removal and system/network security. We have real life, enterprise experience in large global formats to better serve the smaller to medium size business sectors, giving out clients an edge.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. We enjoy the challenges we face every day and the clients we meet. Our whole purpose is to serve the community and offer the best service around. We're not here to nickle and dime our clients with hack and haphazard methods. We guarantee our work or it's on us... Simple as that!
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. How did I get a virus?
100's of Viruses/Malware/Adwares are coded every day by hackers and organized crime syndicates used to steal personal and sensitive information for use of their own. Anti Virus companies send out update's to thier softwares Virus Definitions on a daily basis but they can only protect agaist what they have seen or tested. The influx of Social Networking, online gaming, and other sharing on the net has created a birthing ground for coders and hackers to fill with their havok. Sites like Facebook, MySpace, and other social networking sites act as breading grounds where they can launch thier attacks inbedded in E-mails, Links, Images and more. Just visiting a site could be enought to infect your PC. Once infected it can take over your accounts on various sites, sending out spoof emails directing anyone in your contact list to click a link further spreading the virus.
Why do Some Companies charge alot more for their services.
Simple ethics. They have large overhead they need to cover to make a profit margin, we don't. We took careful planning in everything we do to keep our overhead as low as possible so that we can keep our prices low and better server our clients. Our virus cleaning and PC optimization service is $125, where Bestbuy and other retails charge up to $375.
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. A longtime customer whom we've had close relationships with had called me one night at 10pm. He stated his keyboard was not working correctly on a PC we had just custom built for him and asked when could someone come and help him as he had important business tax information to get in to the DOR. I drove to his house to find that his NumLock was off.
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. In all honesty no technition knows everything about every application ever made. Often we use a simple flow chart that can easily discribe what we are doing in our minds.
This flow chart will explain a lot, and give you a good laugh.
