I collaborate with each client to create a look that brings out their best! I believe make up should enhance not over power. Specializing in all styles of make up from, Natural to Dramatic, Bridal, Photography, and Airbrushing. Experienced with all ages and ethnicities. Professional products used are longer lasting and create a flawless finish.

I am available for weddings, special occasions, events, everyday wear, film and television, and travel all of New England.

    I was lucky to have met Janis through the raving recommendation of a good friend. I was looking for a makeup artist who specialized on a "natural" look as I do not usually wear makeup. As soon as I met with Janis, I knew she was exactly who I was looking for. She was soo nice, friendly, professional, but you know she truly loves what she does. She was exceptional in my airbrush makeup which looked sooo natural on me and lasted all day and night, as well as her talent on eyes and lips. She did amazing work on my bridesmaids as well as my mom, all were soo happy with the outcome. Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. My advise would be don't look for bargain deals on make up services, or have a friend do your make up the day of your Wedding or for important events. Let a professional make up artist enhance your look and eleviate that part of stress for one day.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. A potential client should ask if you provide a "back -up" make up artist in case of illness on your part. If a make up artist does not have anyone to step in place of them ,than your day will be a disaster trying to figure out make up application.

I always have another artist on hand , just in case if these types of issues. I also make a chart of your preview colors during our trial appointment, so they can follow "your look" the day of.

The other important issue is sanitation, you should always ask how the brushes are cleaned during multiple applications.

I carry extra sets to accomodate the Wedding party and sterilize everything when finished .

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I strive to perfect excellent customer satisfaction, and enjoy making people look and feel beautiful on their special day.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Everyone always asks me how I started doing make up.

I tell them that at an early age (12 years old) .I was involved in dance lessons and was on stage with girls my age but I was the only one wearing make up. I figured out that I wanted to be noticed and the only way was to wear make up and glitter. My mother always looked perfectly made up and I followed in her creation.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. I have many favorite stories , but the one that stands out was being part of the 2009 New York Beauty Show, I was asked to be made up in front of a group of make up artists. It was very exciting having Eve Pearl, who is an Emmy Award winning artist make me look beautiful. I ended up being interviewd on her web site as part of the advertising for the show
