- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
We encourage customers seeking to do work on their homes to be sure they understand the process from the early design stages all the way through the completion of construction. One important question to ask is, "at what point will I know what the cost will be?" Before design, you can only have a rough estimate, but by the completion of design, you should have a fixed price. And if your pre-design estimate is not realistic, you'll have sticker shock when it's too late! Ask lots of questions of your architect or contractor, and make sure you're clear on the process and the players before you proceed, otherwise you'll be bombarded with negative surprises.
