I love that the two create a catalyst effect that propels patients into profound changes in their lives. It's very rare to find a career where everyone leaves smiling! I was nervous to try acupuncture for my illness, but Marisa put me right at ease. She was professional, friendly and gentle. I liked that she didn't pressure me or make me feel guilty about my not so healthy lifestyle.

Marisa is very professional and knowlegible. I went to Marisa for migraines low energy issues. After a few visits I was feeling much better and I have had far less migraines! She also does a combination of hypnosis and acupuncture which is very relaxing and helpful for changing habits, stress etc. I recommend her!

I've been going to Marisa for acupuncture for a year and a half. I've also had a few hypnoacupuncture sessions (including one for flying which was incredibly helpful!). She's been very helpful during the treatments, not only helping me auth the issues I presented with but also helping with things that came up during the time I've been in treatment. I'd recommend Marisa without hesitation. Whether you have traditional needs for acupuncture (like migraines, like me) or anything slightly unusual, she can help with that as well (she's helped me with motion sickness and claustrophobia at Disney!).

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All of my prices are clearly listed on my website and appointment booking site.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Patients often go online to schedule a 15 minute consultation before working with me. During this consultation, I answer any questions that they have. If patients are coming in for hypnotherapy, acupuncture, or a combination of the two, I start with a detailed 30 minute intake during the initial session. All patients receive full treatments during their initial session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a master's degree in acupuncture from the New England School of Acupuncture and am licensed and certified by the Massachusetts Medical Board and the NCCAOM. I am certified in hypnotherapy through the Thomas Institute of Hypnosis. My life coaching certification is through IPEC.
