FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I became a photographer after living and studying in Africa for four months. I never knew I'd be interested in photography until I used it to help me grow closer with rural families in northern Uganda. The language barrier made communication difficult, so sharing our experiences through pictures was so helpful. After returning to the US, I fell in love with portraiture and documentary photography - both are passions that I bring with me into every wedding shoot.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Consider the schedule of your wedding day and be sure to leave enough time for the family portraits. Also, remember to talk to your photographer about the style of photography that you most enjoy! There are so many photographers out there, and you want to connect with the one who shares your vision. Sit down and look at some pictures together and talk about what you really like most!
