Introduction: We are a professional tree care, landscaping and pest management business that specializes in planting, pruning, hemlock treatment, winter moss control, adelgid and tree removal. The owner of BarkBusters, Mike Jerome, has earned a reputation for doing honest, quality work. Mike is available for his clients despite the demands of a growing small business, in a manner that a lot of larger businesses cannot afford to be. Since 1997, Mike has been in the business when he started working for the previous owner. Mike gained knowledge of the trade and honed his skill under the proficiency of his boss, who was a world champion tree climber. Mike soon became among the more skilled climbers in the world as he earned awards and a four-time winner of the New England championship. In 2002, his boss decided to concentrate more on teaching the craft of climbing believing that the daily management of the tree service was too time consuming. Mike stepped up by buying the company and he has been the business owner ever since. Mike is certified by the National Arborists Association and the Mass Arborists Association. As his business expanded, he has also earned the state pesticide license so that he can work in pest management as well.
