Teacher and Philosophy I teach to the whole student in all aspects of their lives. I am a certified teacher in MA. I have a Masters degree as well as a degree in performance from Julliard School of music in NYC. I have been teaching professionally for 16 years. I have a Masters degree in counseling from Ann Maria College. I help students develop good family and life values and to love music and have it through out their life. I teach ages 5 to 95 years. I make sure students learn and appreciate the music of their culture and nationality and religion. My mission is to to help children become independent learners, cultivate skills in music that apply in life, time management, presentation skills, accountability, responsibility and focusing on a given task while performing multi functions, and to be a positive model for children. Lessons do include all the note-reading, theory, scales and ear training. I teach very beginner age 5yr up to very advanced levels. I tell my students we will have fun while we are working hard at doing the best we can. I build a students self-self worth and confidence to succeed in music and in life.
