Performance Pilates and Fitness is a wonderful place to workout. I have been taking numerous classes there for a few years now and have nothing but good things to say! All the instructors are extremely educated and know how to get you the results you're looking for while keeping you safe and having fun! Performance Pilate and Fitness is unique from other gym's because you get a more personal experience and it becomes your second family. Everyone is so friendly and supportive! If you're in a private pilates session or in a group class they take full advantage of your time and make sure you get in an excellent workout. When I go to a gym on my own and try to workout myself I end up talking or taking too many breaks and leave the gym feeling like I didn't do much in all the time I spent there. That is no way how I feel after leaving Performance Pilates and Fitness, I always leave there feeling 100% satisfied with my workout!

Question and answer
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. With pilates' growing popularity , studios and classes are becoming more readily available. But how do you choose who to go to? There are a few very important things to consider when selecting a studio and instructor. Below are a few questions to ask before you choose where to begin your pilates training.
Who did you obtain your certification through? There are many disciplines of pilates and many certifying schools. Be sure that your instructor holds a complete or comprehensive certification, or is currently working towards it. With the complexity of pilates exercises, you want to be sure your instructor has extensive training, which typically takes several years to obtain. Watch out for weekend certifications that teach a broad range of exercises, without the understanding of the principals or philosophy behind pilates.
Performance Pilates and Fitness is the first pilates studio in the area. Our instructors hold the most comprehensive certifications with the longest teaching history. No other studio around has the years of experience, the quality of instruction or the extensive on-going training. We encourage you to discuss with us, our qualifications as well as our commitment to pilates.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. You need to give yourself time when learning anything new. That goes for Pilates as well. It isn't a matter of just moving your body around, its understanding what your body is feeling and learning to tap into the deeper layer of muscles that support your spine. It will take time to figure that out, but once you get it....it is so worth it!
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. How long have you been teaching?
Like with many other things in life, when it comes to teaching pilates...... practice makes perfect. The more bodies your instructor has seen and worked with, the more skilled they will be teaching you. Be sure your instructor has been teaching for years, not months. This will ensure that you are getting the most skilled and intuitive instruction available.
Do you continue to practice pilates personally and attend ongoing teacher training?
Keeping up to date on teaching techniques is crucial to any instructor. It is also important that your instructor be able to practice pilates and have a deep understanding of the exercise that they are teaching. In order to truly teach pilates, one must be able to do pilates.
