Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We have many agents with one or two specialties vs one agent with many different specialties. We craft perfect dream trips catering to your needs and wants falling within your reasonable budget. We have many happy clients that use us again and again.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The best part of my job is when clients come home and tell me their trip was amazing, and they thank me for taking care of their dream.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Why should we use a travel agent vs the internet? My answer is always the same. We are professionals and this is our profession. We are educated in this profession. We are a voice on the other end of our personal cell number we give you, if something should go awry. You wouldn't cut your own hair would you?

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. Friends of mine booked a resort online instead of contacting me. They figured they couldn't get a discount because this resort didn't allow discounts. Well I gave them a friends and family discount, emailed the resort manager asking for a vip upgrade. They came home telling me it was the best week of their lives and they were upgraded to one of the highest room categories. That Christmas in their Christmas newsletter they told everyone of their great anniversary trip and how their travel agent gave them the trip of their dreams and it cost less than it did when they originally booked it online!

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. That it doesn't cost them any money to use a travel agent and they get the best deals and advice from a travel agent vs an online booking engine.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. Traveling with my husband on business trips

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. I am constantly taking courses on different resorts and destinations as well as niches ie destination weddings and honeymoons. This is an everchanging profession and we need to stay educated and updated.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. You must be a sales person and you must be passionate about travel and what it does to enhance people's lives.
