I offer experienced, loving birth support and comprehensive education for the childbearing year.
I am a DONA-certified birth doula with over 8 years of experience. I serve families in hospital, birth center, and home settings and have supported a wide variety of births - VBACs, unmedicated births, water births, induced births, planned cesarean births, unexpected cesarean births, and epidural births.
I offer comprehensive perinatal classes, including:
* Informed Childbirth Education - consumer-focused with a wide variety of comfort and coping skills
* Breastfeeding 101 - the practical information you need to get off to a good start
* Infant Care: The 4th Trimester - hands-on baby skills, as well as thorough discussions on the realities of life with a newborn
* Infant CPR - Based on AHA's Friends and Family curriculum, it is focused on birth through 12 months
* Comfort Measures Workshop - an active, participant-based workshop focused entirely on learning and practicing comfort measures and coping techniques
