Introduction: Donavon Israel is an AFTA (American Fitness Training of Athletics) certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor with an extensive background in martial arts and boxing and a first degree black belt in taekwondo. He is the founder of BODYbyDONAVON, and trains at numerous Baltimore gyms including Federal Hill Fitness, Mt. Vernon Fitness, Bare Hills Athletic and Tennis Club and Merritt Athletic Club. His popular group fitness classes range from body sculpting and kickboxing to interval training. He also provides individual, personal training at numerous residential gyms, including Harborview and the Fitzgerald. In addition to individual training, Donavon offers boxing clinic, fight club and fit club numerous times a year as group training programs.

I've worked out with multiple other trainers in the past, which allows me to honestly say that Donavon has to be one of the best in the area, if not the best. He has given me fabulous results in the shortest amount of time. His training routines are always changing so sessions are never boring and repetitive. And his energy and positivity is infectious. I highly recommend him!

With Donavon's help I went down 4 dress sizes in 3 months and have kept the weight off for over three years. His technical expertise has always impressed me but what sets Donavon apart is his ability to put his clients at ease - he makes working out fun. Donovan is a great trainer. He keeps me motivated by keeping his workouts fresh and new. He works me hard but I don't find his workouts difficult. Donovan nevers makes you do more than you can handle. Right now I train with him in a group setting and his focus is on the group but he takes the time to give each individual their support and focus on their own goals. It's been great working with him!
