Alex Layne, guitar instructor, lives in Baltimore, Maryland. He offers affordable, fun and creative guitar lessons. He is an experienced instructor accepting students in the Baltimore and surrounding areas. He is also accepting online students via Skype. He has taught children and adults on electric and acoustic guitar.

    Alex has been a patient and attentative guitar teacher for my two young children ages 5 and 7. He keeps them engaged and interested throughout their entire lesson. It takes a special person to be able to work with very young children.

    I've been playing guitar off and on for over 40 years and I found Alex Lane could teach me technique on slide and new tricks for leads and rhythm quick and easy...for a moderate price too. I highly recommend Alex for the beginner or the player who needs more play.

    Alex is a great teacher to work with. As an late-comer to the guitar, I was concerned about being able to learn in a supportive environment that fit my musical tastes and worked with my hectic schedule. Alex was as flexible as possible with lesson schedules, and went out of his way to learn songs I wanted to play that we could use during the lessons. He definitely gave me the encouragement and confidence to keep on learning, and now I have reached a point where I feel comfortable trying to learn new songs on my own.
