- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure a proper assessment is done to determine your issues. Don't accept an arbitrary recommendation before an assessment is done. Ask as many questions as you like. Request documentation of recommendations or ask for reference sources. A good practitioner can provide information on what they recommend. make sure to reveal use of any and all medications, herbs or remedies you are using.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Naturopaths don't just recommend herbal remedies. The curriculum is rigorous and training is intense. We use other assessment tools than their primary care provider. (IE. hair instead of blood). We are educators, so coming to visit is an informative and open experience. You are given a copy of your results. We take the time to make sure you are doing well by following up during your regimen of natural therapy via email, text or phone call.
