Natural medicine is preventative medicine that focuses on the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. Your Healing Place is a comprehensive Naturopathic practice that is geared toward the holistic health of women.
The practice features state-of-the-art assessment tools such as the Bio Meridian Scan and hair tissue analysis. These tools provide a unique insight into the possible causes of illness.
As most diseases are derived from some form of stress, the practice also provides clinical massage therapy for those who are battling cancer and many other illnesses.
Lymphatic drainage technique aims to help the body release excess fluid.
Swedish massage helps relax the body and mind, which is critical to the healing process.
Clients who have visited Your Healing Place are happier, healthier, and more enlightened after each visit.
Massage rates are $55 for 30 minutes, $85 for 60 minutes, and $135 for 90 minutes.

Question and answer
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Make sure a proper assessment is done to determine your issues. Don't accept an arbitrary recommendation before an assessment is done. Ask as many questions as you like. Request documentation of recommendations or ask for reference sources. A good practitioner can provide information on what they recommend. make sure to reveal use of any and all medications, herbs or remedies you are using.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. I wish clients would understand that natural medicine is used all over the world. I even have those in the pharmacy profession seeking my advice about natural remedies. Know this, be informed about your health choices and be free to seek alternatives when you feel the need.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Unlike many natural health practitioners we first provide assessments to determine the status of the body. Through the use of Hair Tissue Analysis and Bio Meridian scans we can better recommend a natural remedy that is specifically needed for the individual.
Testing and lab work is the cornerstone of our recommendations. We don't just blindly recommend any supplement or herb. We encourage our clients not to self diagnose and use remedies vicariously. We also take the time to share knowledge about their health and remedies so that they can make informed decisions about the options of natural medicine.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. The most rewarding part of my job is client follow up visits after they have begun a new regimen of natural medicine. I see the brightness of the eye, and lifted spirits due to experiencing improved health. At that moment I know I have done a good works and am grateful to have shared in the process.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. The most common question is ..." can I take natural remedies with prescription medications?"
A: Yes. However, never take them at the same time. Take natural remedies to hours before or after prescription medications to avoid a negative interaction.
At initial consult, a complete history of prescription meds is taken. When natural remedies are recommended, we investigate potential interactions to make sure the client can take them safely.
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. I have a gentleman that saw me speak at an event. He told me no one could help him with his gout and his super high blood pressure. He finally made an appointment~natural remedies have reduced his gout flare ups and lowered his blood pressure. He was so happy he made an appointment for his wife. They are both doing well!
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. Naturopaths don't just recommend herbal remedies. The curriculum is rigorous and training is intense. We use other assessment tools than their primary care provider. (IE. hair instead of blood). We are educators, so coming to visit in informative and open. You are given a copy of your results. We take the time to make sure you are doing well by following up during your regimen of natural therapy via email, text or phone call.
