About Safi Photography

Safi Photography offers a variety of photographic genres but the main focus is maternity and newborn sessions. I enjoy bringing out the best in everyone in front of the camera by making them feel like the camera isn't even there. If you are looking for an experience along with your product to get the best for your money then you've found the right company.

My pricing is kept at a reasonable rate because I understand that paying an arm and a leg is not feasible for everyone and most importantly its not necessary. I can customize a package to fit your desired product along with your desired budget.

My clients are regular everyday people just like me. We all have a story and I'm the one who is going to help you share it.

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Don't hire me because of the price quote I give you, hire me because you genuinely like my work. The price has nothing to do with the product, years from now you aren't even going to think about how much or how little you paid for photos, you are just going to remember the experience and admire your final product.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love the fact that with photography everyone is happy. You cannot take pictures with a bad attitude, that goes for me as the photographer as well as you as the subject. Being in a positive situation is always a good feeling so for me it doesn't feel like a "job"

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I started as a model in my late teens. Photographers always seemed to be interested in photographing me so I decided on accepting a few sessions. I never seemed to like the way my expression looked in the photographs so I decided to try taking photos of better models. I'd just transferred from Hampton University in Hampton, VA to come back home and attend UMBC. I didn't know what I wanted to major in but I knew I had a passion for art. I decided to give photography a try and here I am years later with my own business and I love it!
