Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. In Residential homes, basements are usually the most common place for mold. Usually there is unknown moisture sources.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Be careful of companies with companies that don't follow the National mold guidelines IICRC S520.

Ask if they use negative air pressure and containment to prevent the mold spores that they will create from spreading through the house.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Be aware of the licenses needed for your particular service and make sure that the company obtains them. License information such as IICRC, NOVA, and insurance coverage for the employees so you are not liable are some things to consider.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Not only ask if the company is insured , but ask then to show their " certificate of insurance". Make sure the certificate is up to date.
