A. Don't shop by price alone, there are many shady refinishers. Look for a brick and mortar company with a history and a solid guarantee of satisfaction. Beware of companies that don't answer there phone.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. How important removing the drain and overflow are to getting an outstanding long lasting job. Find out the technicians background in there skill level of applying the reglazing material, it requires the skills of an experience car painter to be applied skillfully

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. 1. How do they prepare the surface for refinishing.
2. Do they provide ventation equipment to protect your home
3. Will they completely mask off the entire bathroom
4. Do they use Aliphatic Acrylic Urethane Coating with an epoxy silane modified primer
5. Be sure they use an Etching solution to prep the surface for mechanical adhesion

A. Have any major work done in the room done prior to refinishing. If the sink cabinet is right up aginist the tub it may need to be removed before refinishing to get the coating applied correctly. If your getting the walls painted around the tile or tub be sure you or your contractor scuffs the perimeter for the paint to adhere as I see all the time our tape pulls off the incorrectly prepared paint and then it some how is my fault, which I take care of but is really a bit ignorant when it takes just a little bit of effort to do right the first time.
