Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Do your research and give your children the quality care they deserve. Weigh the differences between in-home care vs. large daycare centers and decide which will give your child the one-on-one personal attention and care they need.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. How many children the provider has of their own. What their values and principals are. How clean and attentive they are - i.e. with their house, children, etc. How much experience they have.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. How much experience do you have? Do you have pets? Does anyone smoke in the home? Do you have backup support/staff? Are you licensed?

Make sure anyone you hire to take care of YOUR child is licensed and properly trained and certified. Babysitters are not properly trained in CPR and proper first aid.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Commute, distance between work/home, quality vs. quantity care, scheduling, special requests/needs, does the daycare accept state assistance for payments, flexible scheduling, friendly atmosphere, caring people. Licensed and Certified.
