FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It does vary depending on the event and audience. I typically quote a price at the mid-range of the stated published range. For example, I would quote a price of $2,000 if the stated price range is $1,000 to $3,000. I do this, in part, because I am sensitive to the budget and desire that all of my customers are very comfortable with a fair and reasonable price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Introductory meeting and discussion to learn / understand expectations and the establish goals and objectives prior to the actual event. Mutual agreement is key for both parties. Once I fully understand the desired outcomes, I provide a detailed overview of my presentation, workshop, seminar and/or keynote speech to heighten the customer's comfort-level and certainty that I will deliver as promised.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have earned an undergraduate degree in business administration and management from Virginia Commonwealth University, and possess 30+ years of on-hands supervisory, leadership and managerial training and experience with the federal government and private industry. As noted, I am a John Maxwell Team internationally certified speaker, mentor, coach and teacher. I also completed course work toward a Master of Business Administration from Marymount University (Arlington, VA) and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Besides the USA, I have taught and spoken in the United Kingdom, Turks and Caicos Islands and Kenya Africa.
