A. Remember that a good deal of private lesson success depends on your relationship & comfort level with the instructor. Find someone who is not only qualified, but who you enjoy working with.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. This is not a regulated industry. Anyone can call themselves an instructor. Be sure you are working with someone who is a competent musician as well as an instructor

A. Ask about their teaching experience, and ask for referrals!
