Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. If a designer or developer can quote you a rate within an ad or before they know anything about your project - run. A logo is more than a pretty picture, it is a visual representation of the interactions customers have with your company. A good logo represents these interactions accurately, but a great logo will actually influence how a customer interacts with your brand. Needless to say if a logo is designed inside a vacuum or worse, designed for someone else and resold to you, it isn't a "great" logo.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. Know your estimated marketing budget for the year to come and be realistic about what you can achieve with it.
Newer business owners have a tendency to get caught up on more familiar mediums like TV or full color direct mail pieces. Which is all fine if they have the budget to burn, but in most cases they simply don't. Which is where we come in.
Besides designing your marketing pieces we can walk you through how and where you should be marketing to maximize your budget.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. We build holistic brands from the ground up. We don't just design a logo and a wesite and then send you on your merry way, we make sure that every touch point your customer will come across while interacting with your company reinforces your brand story.

A. The most rewarding aspect of my job is when we are able to help small businesses take the next step and become recognized on the national stage.
Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?
A. Online social mediums like Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and YouTube are only going to become more important in the near future. Over the next few years you are going to see businesses integrate these platforms heavily within their own sites and become more relient on them to reach their SEO goals.

A. We are often asked for a rate card or a menu style listing of out various fees or build costs. But we simply don't have one. Here at TwoChaps we don't do cookiecutter and we never resell designs. All of our designs are original and custom built to meet the unique and specific needs of our clients.
