A. My advise to prospective clients would be, Have some idea of what you expect the project to achieve in terms of usage, some asthetic idea, and a basic sense of budget. We can help with tuning the usage aspects and asthetics, to bring the project into focus with budget in mind. Finding a contractor that you can work with in terms of communication and one that is respectful of your idea's and wishes and listens well, and one that is flexible. That will make your project alot more enjoyable and one that you will ultimately be happy with.
A. We strive to achieve the highest standard of quality for our clients. Our carpenters are master carpenters skilled in all aspects of remodeling and are also cabinet makers.
Our combined years of experience is more than 85 and it shows in the finished product.
A. I like this industry because it gives me the opportunity to be creative. I also like working with clients to develope their ideas into reality, and also the challenges that are inherent to this buisness. I enjoy the chance to problem solve and the satisfaction derived from a quality product and happy client.
A. I would like the clients to better understand the complex nature of what we do and to realize that when making decisions about different remodeling firms, that you generally get what you pay for and that cheap isn't always the best bet when making improvements to your largest investment
A. I am always reading the latest remodeling publications, such as Qualified Remodeler magazine, I attend industry related seminars that come to my area, and I network frequently with others in my trade.
A. I would say that the best way to learn this profession would be to find a contractor that is willing to take you under their wing and invest the time to teach you the different aspects of this industry properly. That may be hard to find, but if one is really serious about getting into this business, just as you would choose one education institution over another to get the best education, the same should apply here. This industry is very strongly a hands on type where you can't really learn it unless you physically do the work.
