Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Although my small growing company is relatively new as a formal production entity, I have over 35 years personal experience in the Entertainment industry. There is a great personal interest and investment to create the very best professional product for our clients, while offering excellent rates as we develop. The creative process of taking ideas and concepts and bringing them to life visually on a screen or in a captured image is exciting. In particular, video editing is a source of great satisfaction - watching small clips come together to tell a comprehensive story.

My name is Todd Combs, retired CEO of Chesapeake Audio/Video Communications, a professional recording company, and founder and Past Executive Director of the International Association of Communication Specalists, therefore I feel I speak with some authority on the abilities of persons in like fields. I have known Robert Neal Marshall for more than 20 years and I am quite familiar with many of his projects. Several have more than impressed me with his keen eye on a shoot and his nearly magical ability in editing to create a product. I have seen his creative work on a bio for a professional speaker, a promo piece for a dental group, a spectacular piece on the Cunard Lines "The Three Queens " and many others of note. Therefore I can highly recommend Mr. Marshall for any video project, from idea,to script, to shoot, to finish. You can contact me anytime at (301)717-4412

Robert's eye for well-composed shots and his strong camera work brings out the essential moments that are vital to telling compelling visual stories. His editing skills further enhance the project, ensuring that pacing, image, and sound all come together in a seamless whole. Even as important, Robert is a joy to work with, listens to his client's needs, and approaches his work with enthusiasm and a positive attitude! I will be hiring him for my next project, for sure!

Robert Neal Marshall is, without question, BRILLIANT. He created, produced & superbly delivered a 60min documentary about my ow life and times, which then has its red carpet premiere aboard the liner QUEEN MARY 2. Robert is blessed, no gifted, with exceptional skill! He blazes with creativity.. He has special skills, in my opinion, with organization, blending and, most of all, editing. Robert would not just be an asset, but a huge asset to any firm & organization. Don't hesitate -- he's a GEM!

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am constantly working to develop my skills, in particular working with the Adobe Suite of software products to advance editing and visual skills. I learn from each job and from working as a team member with other photographers, videographers and filmmakers on freelance gigs.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I grew up surrounded by filmmakers and actors. My Grandfather was a Newsreel Cameraman who filmed Lindbergh's take off from Roosevelt field towards Paris in 1927 and he filmed some of the very rare color footage of the D-Day landings in Normandy in 1944. He later started his own production company with my Uncle and gave me my early experience. I went in other directions, in the arts & theatre, but am moving back into my grandfather and uncle's footsteps by developing my own production company.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Certainly compare prices and the way a company will perform photography & video services, however I personally put great value into a connection with the client and realizing their vision. I want my clients to know that I thrive in this environment and really enjoy the overall process. It gives me great personal and creative satisfaction to see a project come together and I bring that energy to each job.
