Tom has been teaching my son for almost three years. He's been a wonderful teacher. He's very flexible with scheduling lessons and has been willing to change the schedule to meet our needs. Tom also gave me advice on and helped me purchase two guitars from dealers. His knowledge and enthusiasm make him the perfect teacher.

Tom has been working with my son Ethan on Jazz Guitar since middle school, when he wanted to prepare to try out for the Senior Jazz Band in H.S. He made onto the jazz band and they continue to work together weekly, improving Ethan's skills and having a blast playing all kinds of music together. Tom is just a really wonderful guy, a fantastic musician, and an excellent teacher; I highly recommend him.

My 16 year old son has been taking guitar lessons from Tom for so many years I can't remember exactly how many it's been. Maybe five. Tom was born to teach (oh yes- and also be a musician!) He is kind and patient and really cares about his students as people, not just as musicians. In our heavily scheduled life, Tom never watches the clock. The lesson is over when it is complete, not when the timer beeps that 30 minutes is up. My husband and I would highly recommend Tom to anyone wanting to learn guitar - from beginner to expert, young to old. He's the best.
