Deck & Dock Maintenance

I have an older house with a corner lot. Over the summer i cut down my large oak tree that was in the front yard and had the stump ground up. The whole summer went by and I never did anything else with the yard. To compliment the stump I had a bowing retaining wall that was falling apart and a green carpeted porch with a white fence. And to make matters worse I had a new front door that put more attention on how awful my yard looked. None the less, I was planning a holiday party and definitely needed some curb appeal to help my outdated lawn. I connected with Wendell and Dan on Thumbtack to see if I can do something quick and affordable to spruce up my yard and get some curb appeal. From the minute Wendell contacted me, he was very professional and sent me several samples of their work. He arranged for Dan to come out the next Day and see my property. I was hopeful and anxious to meet Dan and share my ideas. When Dan came out he had done his homework before he arrived. I shared my ideas and he shared a boatload of knowledge. Not only was he familiar with the type of grass that me and most of my neighbors had, but he gave me several options of plants and flowers that would compliment my space and give me curb appeal in the winter. What was MOST impressive is the fact that he gave me 3 options on how I could improve my yard and entrance to my house. Though I indicated that I wanted to eventually get my walkway done, Dan gave me 3 affordable options to make it happen now. I was so impressed. With a 1 week deadline before my party and ran in the forecast Dan and his crew started work on a Tuesday and worked tirelessly to totally transform my years and walkway by Thursday. The quality if the work and AMAZING attention to detail left me and my husband speechless. The neighborhood is in absolute awe as no one even thought such a transformation was possible. Dan and his crew did a wonderful job. I felt like I was on HGTV. My expectations were greatly exceeded and I got above and beyond the curb appeal I envisioned for my budget. I highly recommend this company. They are knowledgeable, honest, fast, affordable and trustworthy!

Wendell's company does lawn maintenance, landscaping, weed control, and property clean up for us. His crew is cordial, efficient, and professional. Wendell is always reachable by phone, and very responsive to our requests. After using two other companies in the past ten years, before finding Wendell, he is by far head and shoulders above the rest.

Mr Lilly was prompt in keeping appointments. The deck resurfacing work was finished as promised in less than a day by two workers who were efficient and cleaned up after the job. The quality of work was excellent and there was follow-up by Mr Lilly himself. Would endorse Mr. Lilly and highly ecommend his company.
