A. We shoot mostly weddings. But we also shoot for a large sailing magazine and do wildlife conservation photography and video work in Southern Africa. Most of the conservation work is with lions.
A. Always ask your photographer if they shoot with back up equipment on hand. A pro carries two of every essential item. Secondly make sure full resolution images on a disc are included in the price. Don't pay twice for your pictures.
A. I think our experience with wildlife as well as sports journalism before getting into weddings as our main work sets us apart from many other studios out there. I figure if we can shoot two feet away from a wild lion in Africa we can handle the odd wild wedding guest too.
A. Photography is not a job. It's our passion!
We love being part of each brides special day.
We love the fact that every wedding is unique and we cherish the challenge of capturing each one with all the emotions of the day.
A. Many clients often ask if we deliver their images on a disc so they can make prints. We simply answer we have always done so. You paid us to shoot your wedding and deliver your images. You should not have to pay extra for the disc of images. We give all clients a creative commons license to make all the prints they want. They are your images use them when you want them.
A. I proved the durability of my Canon Digital SLR while shooting in Southern Africa. I was charged by a Leopard and dropped my camera down a steep embankment. It fell about ten feet and the battery came out as the lens flew off on impact too. I raced down to it once the leopard was clear and after a good clean and some tlc shot with that trusty baby for a few more years.
