Illusions by Vick put on an exceptional show for our company! When Vick performs he creates an atmosphere like going on a journey into a world of magic he created with us. You can feel the emotion and energy throughout the show. It's obvious that Vick loves what he is doing and it made the show that much more enjoyable for us. Also Vick is very accommodating and easy to work with. If you have the opportunity I highly recommend you see Illusions by Vick perform or hire him if you have the opportunity. We will definitely have him back again!

Your unique and dignified approach touched me in a way that most magicians don't.
The near macabre but lovely delivery of illusion you employ is almost Tim Burton-esque on the surface, but simultaneously filled with so much heart that all of the departed classically trained magicians surely
must be looking over your shoulder each time you extract a sense of wonder in the wry smiles of your audience.

Vick is a most talented and gracious performer. He wow'ed the entire audience (pre-schoolers to grandparents) with an amazing magic show! He was also a major contributing factor in the promotion and success of the show (and our fund raiser). I highly recommend Illusions by Vick to everyone looking for outstanding entertainment.

Vick is truly a great entertainer. We had him for our Holiday party and everyone was amazed (no skeptics once Vick started!). Besides being an outstanding performer Vick is a wonderful personality, he really brings something special with himself and his magic. We saw amazing things from an amazing man; we still aren't over the evening. I really can't saw enough good things about Vick and his show. If you have the opportunity I highly recommend you hire or see Vick live.

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. There is no such thing as a "common job" for Illusions by Vick. What happens most often is presenting for your enjoyment Unique, Thought Provoking and Amazing Magical Experiences.
The where is not as important as reaching the audience is, creating an amazing magical entertainment experience. It doesn't have to be a glitzy big box Vegas Extravaganza but it does have to have heart, intellect, fun and amazement. It has to reach the audience emotionally and mentally and leave them with a special and memorable experience
There is nothing "common' about creating and sharing amazing magical experiences
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. As a artist who's chosen medium is magic it is my duty to share the incredible, to enable laughter, spur thought and encourage feeling a spectrum of emotions. All while creating a path for us to journey on together into the amazing.
A doctor may say "Trust me I'm a doctor"
I say "Open your mind, I'm your magician"
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. An Illusions by Vick performance is all about the audience. Creating a one of a kind magical experience. One of the motto's you will see is "Presented for your enjoyment Unique, Thought Provoking and Amazing Magical Experiences" That's not just words, it really is what Illusions by Vick does. That is part of what allows me to put all the work, determination heart and imagination that goes into the performance. Plus 11 years of intense study, training, practice, rehearsal and finding and being influenced by and working with some of the finest minds.
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. Every performance, every person I meet and perform for touches me in some way. You are what inspires and encourages me, what allows me to put all the heart, effort and dedication into every show. Meeting you, speaking with you in email, on the telephone and after performances drives me to create and share the most amazing magical experiences, to give you the best entertainment possible. That's where all the imagination springs from, wanting to create amazing experiences. You are the inspiration and the reason, night after night, week after week and year after year. I couldn't do it without you.
Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?
A. Ask a magical entertainer what's old, not what's new. The new are the acts and or presentation we come up with.
