- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system is not complicated! I can usually provide a quote on the phone; sometimes a brief visit is needed. I enjoy the work anyway, so I'm not worried about bidding too low a price for the size of the job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
It's mostly experience-based. The trade isn't taught in schools and most of the information on the internet is not reliable, so you really have to figure it out yourself.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Houses are most common; also many decks and fences.
