FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am a fair person when it comes to prices. One never knows what they may be getting into for a first time cleaning job. I have spent 6 hours cleaning small houses and only 2-3 cleaning large houses, depending on the neglect of the cleaning and the daily routine of the people that live there. Once I have a repeat, regular customer, I am fair & will adjust my price accordingly.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A simple introduction is fine. I find it best to know what the customers expectations are of the job they are paying for. It's good to know if they have any special requests or specific areas of the house that need more attention paid to them. Privacy is very important to people, so I make sure that I don't touch anything that I don't need to touch except for cleaning purposes. I don't open drawers, cabinets, or doors, unless it is necessary as part of the cleaning job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked for several House Cleaning business's in the past & then I started my own company. I crushed my leg 11 years ago & after 3 failed surgeries, I had to give up my 27 regular cleaning customers. I tried hiring outsiders to work for me, but my customers were spoiled with how myself & my Mother in Law cleaned for them. Trust became an issue when you have others working for you. I now just pick up small cleaning jobs here & there for extra finances.
