I do this with the heart of a teacher who is focused on helping the client learn. Working with people on an individual basis is both rewarding and personally satisfying. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It is not complicated and it is posted on my website so anyone who is interested in caregiver coaching or other types of coaching can plan accordingly. I also offer workshops to help develop the skills of the caregiver to become better equipped to manage his or her situation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My continuing education is through the International Christian Coaches Association with is associated with the American Association of Christian Counselors. I also continue to research and study the latest financial news for emerging trends in money management philosophies. I am plugged into the caregiving community and stay abreast of the latest political and social news that impacts the caregiver.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I did not choose life coaching as much as life coaching actually choose me. By trade, I am a strategic analyst. Over the last three decades I have worked for several fortune 500 companies as a strategic data/operations analyst. Coupled with my passion for helping others succeed and my desire to be a conduit through which God's resources flow, I naturally gravitated towards developing a business unlike any other. That is why The Vita-Copia Group is so unique. It serves caregivers who struggle with the pressures and challenges of life by deploying an empathetic heart and a strategic design. If you are a caregiver, you know a deeper sense of purpose, but you also know a deeper sense of sorrow. I know because I have both a son with special needs and a father with Alzheimer's.
