This was my first time using Thumbtack, so I don't know if it is an app issue or a contractor issue, but nobody showed up at the original "confirmed" appointment time. I was able to contact JCG directly through the app and reschedule for the next day. Juan kept me apprised of his arrival time and completed my job professionally and quickly. I am very happy with the results and recommend JGC for handyman type tasks.

I hired JCG to replace an old under-cabinet range hood, with a new slim model that I wasn't sure would fit correctly. I took pictures of my old hood and sent JCG the spec sheet of the new hood I was considering purchasing, and they said that it would fit with no special modifications or duct work. They arrived exactly on time for the job and replaced the hood with no issues, and at the quoted price which was very competitive. They even carefully removed and readjusted my old metal backsplash to cover the gap from the old hood at no extra change. I highly recommend their service and will definitely use them again for future projects.

Carlos did a fantastic job renovating a shower in our rental. He took care of everything from demo through tile install and the final caulking. He identified issues with the previous install and fixed them to assure proper waterproofing. He was quick to respond, professional and courteous, stuck to his timeline and is affordable. It was really easy to work with him on the design to make sure we had enough tile and got what we want. We are very satisfied with the quality of his work and look forward to contracting him for other projects.
