Kraftwerks repaired our standing seam tin roof and rebuilt and restored the slate roof on our 1840s spring house. They did a great job! The work was done in a timely fashion and the site thoroughly cleaned up once the project was finished. We highly recommend Kraftwerks!

A. Ask for a history of references not just their three best and see examples of their work. It would be wise to check reference sites like Angie's List as well. Never give more than 1/3 of the contract as an initial deposit up front. Always get a warranty for the work. Why pay to have something fixed and have nothing to show for it?
A. Since most customers don't know the trades then a good contractor will educate them. An estimate should include photos explaining what is wrong and the proposal should explain how to resolve it.
A. How long have your men been doing this type of work? It doesn't matter how long the owner has been in business if the crew just started that morning.
A. They should just know that they need something done. It is my job as the professional to provide them the proper scope of work.
A. Our work stands out because we don't claim to do "All types of roofing". We specialize in sheet metal and slate. Our crews do this work day in and day out. Would you use a doctor that "knew everything"?
