Paula was by far a lifesaver for our wedding!!! She was so easy to talk to and was so vibrant. She had such a calm energy about her that I felt relaxed with all the details falling into place. I love that she was not only our wedding planner but also the main contact for the venue that we chose: Ridgeview Valley. That was a wonderful place to get married at, especially because we were able to set up a few days ahead of time and not be super rushed the day of. We loved that, even though it rained, there was an indoor option and it all went so smoothly. We got married last June 2010 and I still keep in contact with Paula and love hearing about all the other weddings that she is working on and know that they are all in great hands!!!!

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. When hiring a wedding planner or coordinator you must meet them in person to make sure your personalities mesh. You should also make sure that they have the perspective that this is your day and your way. They should not control your decisions.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. You should understand what exactly their services include and what hidden fees they may charge. You should also check to see if they are tied to specific vendors.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. What made you choose to be a wedding planner or officiant? Are you married? How long have you personally been married?
