A. Birthday Parties! Most of my business comes from children's b-day parties which are also a lot of fun to do. There is nothing better then painting a design on a child's face and seeing their eyes light up when they look at it.
A. Just completed the Firestone Grand Opening event in Perry Hall on April 28, 2012! It was fantastic! Mix 106.5 was there live and Creative Occasions was there to offer face painting and balloon twisting for the guest. There was also a special appearance from Spongebob Square Pants who came with the Creative Occasions Crew.
A. Make sure you shop around and get the most for your money.
A. My work stands out from others in the field cause I can offer more then just one service, while still staying at a rate lower then most people who can only offer one.
A. I love to paint! I love to transform a face into a work of art. I also really enjoy working with children and putting smiles on their faces.
A. They usually ask how I got involved in what I do. It's actually kind of a twist of fate. I was at a kids night at the McDonalds that two ladies from my son's daycare were hosting and they were doing face painting. However they didn't have the actual paints used for face painting, but we made the most of it. I ended up painting a few faces myself and thought that it would be a fun thing to do. I was always in art classes in school and never did anything with it after graduating. I am finding that those abilities never leave and the more you practice the better you get!
