The Home Wise Pros were great! We really felt comfortable with the sales rep that came over for our roof replacement estimate. He showed us a portfolio of several roofs they replaced in our area, explained in great detail the work to be done, materials to be used etc. He was very clear and upfront about cost, and what we were paying for... for instance, quality materials cost a little more but are likely to last longer, etc. He was very professional, pleasant, and stopped by the house on the day of the work, which was done in one day. After the roof was completed, he showed us pictures of the work in progress -- like, rotten wood being replaced with new wood, Very cool! We loved his detailed presentation before and after. It made it much more personal. He obviously takes pride in his work and it shows. The roof looks great and matches the new garage roof beautifully. No more leaks! He did an excellent job from start to finish and all debris was cleaned up and taken away. I have already recommended them to several friends that have had the same results I did. Keep up the good work!

We were looking for a new roof, and checked a few companies. All were responsive, professional, and had competitive bids. However; The Home Wise Pro's was by far the most responsive, easy to work with, and beat out the nearest bid by over a $1000. Scheduling the job was very straightforward, and the bid was spelled out nicely. They were very mindful of the fact that we live out of town, and could not be present for the job and without hesitation agreed to wait till we flew in a few weeks later for the walkthrough and payment. The job was completed on a Monday. The neighbors raved about the workers, and in fact may be using him for their own property. The site was protected well, and cleaned on completion. Overall, it has been the best experience we've ever had with a contractor. There is no hard sales pitch, and no suggestive selling. The process was straightforward, I recommend this company without any reservation.

Find out what exactly they mean by developing a process over several years. These guys have barely been around for 5. They've been doing roofs for 2. Smoke and mirrors.

The owner has been working in the home improvement and roofing industry and for over 25 yrs. Below you will find our last review: Things went so smoothly. The end of March was a potential date depending on weather. Very pleased to find out the day before that roofing day was to follow. The Home Wise Pros had told us what to expect, including how to exit the house during the work and how to manage the dogs during the day. Everyone arrived at 7am and everything was covered and the work began. By 3:30 pm everything and everyone was gone and the roof and all areas around the house looked great. The company phoned right after they left to make sure things were good and answer any questions or concerns. One of the best features of the service was the multiple photos taken of the roof before, during (rotted wood spray painted and numbered) and after. Seeing picture of other similar jobs when the company came to present his products and workmanship was such a selling point. And when he returned the following week to review and get the final payment it essentially was a final inspection. The Home Wise Pros was the first of 3 to come and check the roof but was the last to present (all within a week). The details were so helpful and my husband and I both overestimated when he asked for a guess at the final price. We were delighted to find his pricing was so much less than one, and very competetive with the other with so much more service. Everything about our experience was so much better than we expected. Not only have I recommended them to a friend already for their roof, but would gladly do so in the future.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I helped a customer that hadn't done any work on her house in a long time. Her is what she had to say about my work. My house had not had any major work done in over 20 years. Mr. Gleason has come to my home and done several jobs for me. I needed additional insulation blown into the attic. The roof was deteriorating needing complete replacement including all new plywood, the attic exhaust fans were no longer working and the gutters were leaking and puling away from the house. Each job Mr Gleason came to my home and brought samples of several different types of materials and explained the advantages and disadvantages of each as well as the cost differences. Once the contract(s) was/were signed and the work date(s) established Mr. Gleason kept me informed as to the status. He and his crew(s) arrived precisely when he said they would. They were very efficient, getting all the the tools and materials lined up so once they started they worked like a well oiled machine. I was quite pleased with the work he did with my attic insulation and clean up. They also did a fantastic job on the roof, installing new attic fans, ridge vents and replacing all collars, flashings. They did an excellent job in cleaning up yard, hauling away all the debris and trash, it looks beautiful. It was a pleasure working with Mr. Gleason and his crew and I would definitely hire him again and recommend him for any home repairs.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do your homework and make sure that the person that came to your home is going to be the one that's at the job site to make sure the job goes just as it was discussed when you signed the contract and put down your deposit.
