Galen was excellent to work with and I’d highly recommend him for your generator repairs and servicing. He not only fixed the oil leak we had with our generator, he also educated me on how to manage certain emergency situations that could arise as a home owner. I really enjoyed getting to know him as a person, his price was reasonable, and he’s great at what he does. A+

Hired Galen to troubleshoot our Wen 1800 generator when it was leaking fuel. He took it apart and found we would need a new carburetor. Given the cost of the repair vs. replacing the unit he was honest in saying it didn't make sense to fix it. Very nice guy who clearly knows the ins &outs of a portable generator. The fee for his time was also very reasonable. Recommend him 100%

In recent years, I am having more difficulty finding resources for mobile small engine or generator repair. I am so pleased to have found Galen Batson of G-PowerPro. Galen repaired our 8-year old portable generator which would not start. Galen set the gap on the spark plug, replaced the carburetor, replaced the fuel line, adjusted the settings on the generator so it would run smoothly, and adjusted the voltage so it would be correct. Galen also used our 500/1000/1500 watt space heater to load test and further adjusted the engine and the generator. I was very impressed and very grateful that Galen had proactively ordered a replacement carburetor when I first contacted him because our generator is a less common brand (SmarterTools). Due to the pandemic, it is taking longer to get parts (which our garage door repairman had also told me). Galen's initiative resulted in our generator getting repaired a week earlier than it would have been normally. He communicated status throughout and arrived on time. I highly recommend Galen and G-PowerPro.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As an Airman in the U.S. Air Force I achieved a journeyman, craftsman and master skill level in Electrical Power Production. I have also completed numerous training schools on specific generator systems to include Caterpillar, Generac, Cummins, and MTU
How did you get started doing this type of work?
As an Airman in the U.S. Air Force, I attended the electrical power production technical training school where I learned the basics of electrical generators. I went on to achieve a journeyman, craftsman and master skill level.
