Question and answer
Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Unfortunately, the most common jobs I get are virus removals. I have become extremely proficient in this area as a result. Although I enjoy eliminating a royal pain for someone, in the end it seems like such a colossal waste of time and money. I feel the same way when I get new tires or a new battery for my car. In my mind I didn't get something new but simply got back to where I was not too long ago...
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. • We have a unique company policy; "If you're not satisfied then you don't pay"!
• We guarantee and stand behind our work with no-charge follow-ups in the rare event you experience a problem with something we have helped you with.
• We own and operate remote software that can allow us access to your computer for fast and efficient problem resolution.
• We are a business and our objective is to earn a profit; however we feel the best way to accomplish this is to build solid, lasting relationships with our customers. One way we do this by offering no-charge consultations and advice for all existing customers.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. The thing I like most about being in the Information Technology field is the ability to genuinely help people with everyday problems they experience while trying to do their job or simply function in their lives. Knowing I helped remove a pitfall in their life or was able to offer guidance in an area they didn't have previous experience in is greatly rewarding.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. The most common questions in my field revolve around the most common problems people experience with computers:
Q. Why is my computer is running so slow.
A. If the computer does not have a virus then this is usually due to start-up programs. Most of the time when you add a program to your computer it has an option for "Start this program with Windows?" which is inevitably already checked. This, multiplied over time, along with the extra unnecessary programs they include in the installation results in a taxing of resources which slows your computer down.
Q. Which anti-virus program should I use?
A. Although no anti-virus program is perfect and can catch every threat out there Norton anti-virus is the most comprehensive software that doesn't sacrifice your computers performance for security. Malwarebytes is an excellent free software to remove threats in the event they do get into your computer.
