Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. We do a lot of bathrooms and kitchens so for us that would be what is most common.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Relax and take it easy, Sean's Remodeling, Electrical and Handyman Services is like no other Home service company you've worked with before, we are friendly, professional and extremely detail orientated, customer satisfaction is our #1 priority, we strive for your reference and desire to create a long term business relationship.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Details!!, Details!!, Details!!, paying attention to detail is what separates the amateurs from the pro's, we desire to be considered professional craftsman, anybody can through something together but fine tuning a job is where the pavement meets the road, its the difference between having a client for life or having a client as a one time deal !!

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. A Client should want to see what the contractor is going to do in writing, every detail including size, color, measurements, start date and approx. completion date as well as a details draw schedule if applicable, that way there no surprises, and the client should alway ask to be kept in the loop, communication is key to keeping a client happy.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I get a feeling of satisfaction when a project comes together and when the job is done right, you feel like a pro, I like the feeling of being very good at what I do.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. I wish client realized that a good contractor is worth his weight in gold, you have to realize that your contractor is working on one of your most valuable assets, your house ! treat your contractor well and if he's got an ounce of integrity he'll treat your house better, if he doesn't, find a new contractor !

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. As a kid my father was in the industrial construction business and always had tools and parts n pieces in our basement, I would go down there and play with the tools and make things, I guess it just took.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. I'm proud of every job I do, as long as my good work is appreciated but if your talking about what give me greater satisfaction it would probably be my tile work, you have to be somewhat creative sometimes to make it look like it suppose to look and when you accomplish that it makes you feel good.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Lol, I would say stay in school or go back to school and do something else, most the time unfortunetly even for the best contractors, construction work can be feast or famine because it is well connected to the economy, but if you most be in this business you have to be able to adapt to the upswings and downswings of the economy.

Q. What is your greatest strength?

A. I would say my greatest strength is listening to what a client has to say, allot of the time a client doesn't know how to explain exactly what they want, but if you listen instead of over talking them or trying to B.S them you can usually delivery on point.
