I think it is my genuine spirit, and willingness to truly make this day perfect. I listen to my clients, and I don't just create what I want. In working with brides, it is always my goal to make sure they feel special and that they fall in love with their look. I have 23 years experience, and when it comes to makeup I am excellent at my craft. However just because I feel as though my work stands out, I do not have an EGO. I learn from my clients every day, and to me, they are the reason I have been so successful. Their trust in me as an artist, and their insight as well. I love what I do and it shows in my work. I also am not in this for just the money, I truly love people and making them feel beautiful. We all have insecurities, and I love that I have tricks in my bag that can take them away! I love that I get to do something every day that I am passionate about. I never get bored because I work with new faces every week. So it is like creating a new painting on a blank canvas. I get excited for the day of the wedding, and I know by me going to the bride and bringing everything to her, that she will be relaxed and ready to have fun! When it comes to makeup clients tell me that I am amazing at eyes and making the skin look perfect. So to me I love that part of the makeup! I think we all have our skin issues, and when a client looks in the mirror and can't believe that is her.. I have done my job!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer packages to all of my brides, to make it as easy as possible. All you have to do is write me Nicoleliv3@aol.com and I will send you the list of packages. The price goes down the more people you have in your party. I try to keep this very affordable! Some of the things I offer.. are free lashes for everyone on the day of your wedding. Makeup for flower girls is another gift. In terms of travel.. that is something we can discuss, I don't like to charge much and sometimes I do not charge at all. I can do up to 15 faces by myself and I work very fast. There is a one time fee of $50 and this pays for your makeup trial and books me for the big day! Just write me with your face count and I will send you the quote and listing!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
When it comes to makeup, I stay up on all of the latest looks and trends. I make sure to read every makeup book that comes out, and I learn from other artist's new tips and skills. It is always important to throw yourself into your career, and when it comes to makeup and products, well it is easy! Every year I go to Sephora, and I spend about 5 hours in there playing. I buy all the new products and test them out for myself. That is the best way to keep up with the latest developments. TRY everything and see if it really works!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was very artistic, and painted. Everything that I did when I was younger usually centered around creating things. So when it was prom time, I usually did all of my friends makeup, or for special events, I was their girl! I taught myself the art of makeup, and from that point knew I was meant to do this forever. Every year I added more skills and learned from other great artist's. It has been an amazing journey and there are always new doors that open for me. I worked for MAC for 7-8 years, and that is when the weddings started to roll in every month. I could not believe it! I am truly blessed.
