FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on 3 main factors: 1) The square footage size of your wall 2) The texture and location of your wall 3) The complexity of the design and detail. Once I have this info I will set a price per square foot. The average price falls between $20-45 per square foot. This fee includes design time, all materials, and labor. I always have one flat project fee, no hourly work. My minimum project fee is $3500.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to learn details about the project first to see if it would be a good fit. Where the wall is and what size it is, as well as what the customer is envisioning for the mural. Once I have that info I can put together a scope of work and provide an estimate. Estimates are always free. If the estimate is approved, I move on to design. I design everything digitally first and provide customers with renderings showing exactly how my work would look on the wall. Then I make revisions as needed to get the design approved. Once the artwork is approved, I schedule the installation and work on-site to complete the mural. The average mural takes me about one week on-site.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and have been working as a professional artist for over 10 years. I have been making art my whole life, it's what I love to do.
