A. Video production along with photography is one of those businesses that you truly get what you pay for. There are plenty of people who buy a retail store camera and then claim to be a videograher/photographer. You would be better off giving a camera to your cousin and asking them to shoot the event or produce your business video. We do this for a living...not a hobby!
A. It's important for customers to understand the work which goes into the post-production part of the project. This is the most time consuming part of any project. This is where everything you do on film day comes together and it has to be done correctly.
A. Every detail of your project should be written down. We can not give you a realistic quote if we do not know all the details. Trust me, you will be surprised at the final cost if you don't reveal all details up front.
Plan on additional time from what you believe the project will run. This is a safe bet.
A. Our customer service is really what sets us apart from the competition! Our slogan is "We See Us In Our Customers"
Potential customers are always amazed at how much time we spend with them during our first discussions of their project.
A. Talking with the customer! People are interesting and there is nothing more exciting to me than listening to them and getting an understanding of what they want. We want to be friends with our customers.
A. What do you charge for a project? I tell them that every project is unique and requires me to ask various questions to get an idea of what the overall project will cost them.
A. I really like the story of Raysat Broadcasting which is a satellite company. They brought us in on a project where they had very strict requirements. One of those was the time by which the project had to be done. We met their deadline with ease. They then informed us that the project was a test for ADR Productions to see if they wanted to do future projects with us. We completed several projects over the next year with them.
A. This is a profession which started as a hobby for me. In 1994 I started taking classes and soon fell in love with video production. I have worked in TV studios and on TV documentaries. We donate work every year to youth organizations in the community.
