- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As a member of the Baltimore Videographers Association, I am well aware of the wide distributions of price quotes for events, especially weddings. I have set my fees to be below average while the services I give are above average. You can find someone who will charge less, but I doubt they will give your event anywhere near the attention or effort I provide.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to talk to a potential customer, at least on the phone. I find that many people do not understand all of the variables and options associated with the event coverage they need. I can help them narrow in on what is important in best documenting their event, perhaps even saving them money!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an active member of the Baltimore Videographers Association. Over the years, I have attended numerous conferences and expositions for videographers.
