VoxEfx is a Wizard, THE go-to photographer in the DC, MD, VA areas. The quality of his work speaks for itself, so let me tell you what you may not be able to see by looking through his portfolio of gorgeous images.

    (1) Vox does more than take pictures. He is well-rounded in his talents and products. Besides producing incredible images, he creates incredible promo videos, flyers, and various edits/retouches. He also teaches his craft to others. Vox has worked with many folks that I personally know, some that I referred to him. They each went to him with different needs/wants, and Vox was always able to cater to each's individual interests.

    (2) Vox invests in his clients. If you invest in him, likewise, you will experience his vested interest in you. You are more than a client or a subject to him. You will be a part of the planning, the execution, and the quality assurance phases of your project. He will ask questions to understand your preferences and send example/inspiration images/flyers/videos/ etc. before the shoot/event. That way, you will know exactly what you can expect from him and he will get to know a little bit more about you too, which will in turn guide him to better serve you. Within a few days of your shoot/event, he will provide you with a work-in-progress and the opportunity to offer feedback. Vox takes pride in serving the individual interests of each of his clients and genuinely values feedback.

His commitment to his clients definitely sets him apart from other photographers/digital wizards. Too often clients are disappointed with products, and unfortunately since the product is a service as well, clients are unable to "return" their products and are out the money, even if they are dissatisfied. Vox is very reasonable in considering requests and feedback. But since you are a part-owner in your product and you are involved in the process/creation, I am confident that by the time Vox presents you with a work in progress, you will already be in love with the work and will have minor suggestions for tweaks at most. :)

    (3) The images you see on this site are a combination of models and "regular" folks. Can you tell the difference? ;) You do not have to be a model to produce beautiful images. Vox has experience working with a variety of clients - at events, in his studio, or at a location of your choice. He has a keen eye for detail, and will be able to provide instruction if that is desirable. You will feel at ease with him. He is very professional while interacting, gets along with all types of personalities, and will bring out the best in you.

    (4) Who am I? How do you know this testimony is real and actually represents the opinion of Vox's typical client? I am a 30 year-old mathematician and PhD candidate who has dabbled in modeling the past couple years. I first met Vox at a workshop where my boyfriend was a model. Vox was hired to teach a portion of the class on editing professional images. He has a well-deserved reputation by models and photographers for his post-processing in PhotoShop and LightRoom.

I have since hired Vox myself for images and video for my professional website, for special occasions, and "just because" - well, because he makes me feel beautiful. :) Vox and I have also collaborated on a article about "The Mathematics of Beauty."

Am I biased? Is it just me? Nope. Friends and associates of mine have also hired Vox. For example, he was recently hired to photograph a StellaDot (jewelry) trunk show for a friend of mine. She needed images for her website both depicting her as the stylist for the event and of her clients engaging in the jewelry party. Another friend of mine, who had never modeled before, hired him to take pictures of her for her Facebook and "just to have." Another friend hired him to take pictures of her with her infant. Yet another hired him to do a couples shoot with her boyfriend. A jeweler who I had originally hired to personalize a necklace for me hired Vox to take my picture for her website. A web-designer I contracted and my personal trainer are both currently working with Vox on promo materials. And I can't count the number of photographers who continuously contact me asking me if they can put me in contact with Vox as a resource for improving their own photography aspirations or to hire him to edit their images.

I think my message is loud and clear that I recommend VoxEfx with utmost confidence as a photographer, videographer, Photoshop wizard, mentor, ... But for the sake of providing a closing paragraph, I will leave you with this. Invest in VoxEfx. He will invest in you. You will be more than satisfied. You will probably even write a testimony just like this one on your own free will. He's THAT fantastically amazing! :)
