FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over the years, I have taken countless classes and attentended multiple seminars. I strike out to keep myself educated on the newest products and methodologies as they apply to my trade. As a result, I have achieved the status of I.I.C.R.C. Master Cleaning Technician and Master Water & Fire Restoration Technician.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most often we go to our Customer's homes to provide My Basic or Premium Carpet Cleaning Service. More and more I have been aske to perform Green Cleaning Services which I am Glad to say are proving to come out betteer and better with the newer formulations of Green Products! They Finally put the Clean in Green Cleaning and it shows!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
The actual costs of providing Professional Services. All too often people see the cheap rates offered by those unethical Bait"n"Switch operators; 2 Rooms & a Hall for $19.99, 3 rooms for$49.95, 5 Rooms for $75.00, or the famous Whole House for $129.00. Come on! What are you really expecting for that? A True Professional Company is coming to your door with a $65,000.00+ set up. The "franchise" technicians will rush in and out in 45 minutes but a Five Star Contractor is going to spend at least an hour to two hours performing a minimal service and has to cover their costs and earn a profit to stay in business. The cost of getting the technician to the door is $50.00 - $75.00 to start when you consider overhead; bookkeeping, the cost of Insurance, gas, labor, marketing, office equipment & expenses, taxes and other miscellaneous expenses. Finally, add in the labor & materials performing the service and the depreciation of the equipment. I hate to say it but as small as those 2 Rooms & a Halls SPECIAL sound, by the time they are done with you, its going to cost more than the $175.00 minimum charge that I run! My rates may seem expensive compare to those BaitnSwitch Operators, but would you pay an electrician $19.99 to run a line and install a new ceiling fan, it would cost $275.00-300.00 or a Plumber $19.99 to replace a toilet, it would cost from $160.00-$175.00. Then you shouldnt be too surprised to pay $400.00-600.00 to clean a modest sized house or $800-$1,000.00 for McMansion.
