Response time was awesome! I contacted the company late at night due to having no air on one of the warmest days so far. Response time was in minutes and a technician was at my door the next afternoon. Technician was very knowledgeable and friendly and cost associated with repair appeared to be very reasonable. Will definitely keep info in my contacts

The technician arrived on-time for a same-day booking and quickly discovered an the cause for an issue with an HVAC fan. They sent me a text and a video describing the cause and called me immediately after to explain further.
I received a receipt over email quickly after they left the properly.
My tenants shared with me that they were professional and polite with them.
They did implement the solution without my approval. They rationalized this by saying because it was discovered during diagnostic phase they decided to complete the repair so they didn’t call. To be fair, the fix for my problem was extremely obvious and easy to fix. They did reach out to me after my original review was posted to reassure me that they usually do call before making any repairs.
Their communication with me was terse. I was openly interested in building a relationship/rapport with them, as I regularly need HVAC work done on properties, however they didn’t seem interested in engaging with me beyond the minimum words required to close the job and move on. Communication after my review was posted showed greater investment in our relationship, and they do seem to care about customer satisfaction, even after the job is done.
They either use some sort of unrefined automation, or an individual giving generic robotic responses is communicating over text. So when I had follow-up questions about details that the tech didn’t share initially, I had to call the number that was texting me responses that were unrelated to my questions. They did pick up the phone and answer my questions over the phone.
In my experience, their pricing isn’t cheap nor is it dishonestly expensive; it’s somewhere in the middle.

Setup a repair call with this company through Thumbtack. Even received a confirmation email from them. Called them the morning of the service call and they acted like they had never heard of the appointment and they didn't even offer a time to come out... If they cared so much I would have expected a different response and result. Not sure if I should blame them or Thumbtack for the mistake, but they handled it poorly.
UPDATE: I'm going to change my review a little for AG. I did finally receive a call from them after the fact. They said that Thumbtack did not notify them of the appointment. I was a bit confused because I told the person who called that I received an appointment confirmation in an email. The service tech said that those are auto-generated by Thumbtack and not initiated by the company. He said that his company didn't receive any messages from Thumbtack until I posed the negative review. So they reached out to me to see if they could come out to help. Once they arrived, they realized that I needed a boiler replaced and they said that they didn't work on boilers, but the service tech would try to resolve the problem while he was there. Needless to say, he didn't resolve the issue, but I'll give them an A for effort in trying to resolve the problem after the "miscommunication" with Thumbtack. At the very least they did come out in good faith and didn't charge me a service charge for coming out.

They were phenomenal. Technician arrived next day. Diagnosed and fixed the problem promptly and effectively at a very reasonable price. Will be using and referring them in the future.
