Pablo Grabiel is a full-time professional musician and experienced guitar teacher. He has worked with students ranging from children to seniors and even those with special needs. Pablo offers students with a wide range of guitar knowledge and styles and prides himself in helping students enjoy music while learning, getting novices started and getting beginner or intermediate guitarist to the next level.

Pablo also offers group guitar lessons. Would you like to be able to play basic guitar with and for your children but are short on time and money? During his small group, “guitar for grown-ups” class, Pablo teaches parents the basic chords, rhythm and strumming patterns needed to play a wide variety of children’s and family music (campfire tunes, holiday songs, etc.). This is a great class for busy parents and adults who would like to have more music in the house but lack the time to dedicate themselves to in-depth musical study. It is also a great class for those interested in testing out the guitar.

Each class will have time devoted for one-on-one instruction but without the price tag that accompanies private lessons. No experience is required (nor is it necessary to be a parent)! Class size is composed of 10 or less students. Guitars are not provided.

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Be prepared to dedicate time to guitar. Lessons are only where you learn how and what to practice but the practicing is done by you and you alone, when you are at your home.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Buy the least expensive equipment you can when you are first starting. You never know if you will stick with it and chances are that you will know when it is time to upgrade. Start off with a Nylon String Guitar rather than steel string it will sound better and be easier on your fingers and easier to learn how to play.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Do you perform or play professionally? Do you play a wide variety of styles? Do you have knowledge of music theory? Have you studied formally at a university? The answer to all these questions is yes!

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Are they ready to dedicate 15-30 minutes a day to practice. Music is a journey and you will not be there ina week or a month. But the journey is fun...are you ready to take that journey.
