- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For the photo booth the rate of $125.00 an hour is the charge if the clients wants only the camera and a background. If the client wants an enclosed booth than the charge is $150.00 per hour. There are no additional fees and all other services are included.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I do a lot of videos for the web. Specifically, I develop web videos for the home page of various businesses. The process requires working with the owner and developing a script that will highlight the favorable aspects of their business. After the script is written and the product is storyboarded, I shoot the video (sometimes with testimonials), edit, and with the client's approval, upload it to their site. Of course I've done and continue to do a fair number of instructional videos, PSAs, as well as live event videos eg dance recitals, dog shows etc. I do so enjoy my work and it is very much my pleasure to be involved in these productions. Most of our photobooth work entails weddings, reunions, and birthdays. We do get an occasional corporate party and that can be fun as well.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be wary of all the "hidden charges" vendors may have. A fee for this and a fee for that which is almost never included in the price. I have one price and everything is included.
