I am very disappointed with Katie. I have been a customer of hers for some time. I took my dog to her when she was only working part-time. I made a mistake by scheduling an appointment for 8 weeks later and I forgot about it. I know that Katie is in business to make money but I wasn't a new customer, I never missed an appointment with her before. I was told by Katie, I would have to give her half of the missed appointment before she would groom by dog. Katie never told me anything about her policy for a missed appointment. I don't make it a habit of missing appointments. She did an OK job with my dog, but I felt she cared more about her money then my dog. I love my dog so I decided to find someone else to groom her. I found someone who really loves animals and doesn't rush her or me. I do believe things happen for a reason.

Summer Meadows Pet Spa is the best place to take your pet!!! I take my dog Peanut there and she loves it. I have taken Peanut to other groomers and once she figures out where she is going she puts on the breaks and I can't even get her thru the door. But with Summer Meadows Pet Spa she just about breaks my arm off to get in the door. The groomer Katie is so wonderful with all pet and I trust her 100% to take wonderful care of my baby girl and to make her look like a Princess. GREAT PLACE TO TAKE YOUR PET! :)

I have been using Summer Meadows Pet Spa ever since I had my dog,which about 1 1/2 yrs. I wouldnt think of taking her anywhere else. The animals are never created so they get the same love and attention that you would give your pet at home. She does one animal at a time and it usually less than an hour to groom my dog. I would recommend Summer Meadows Pet Spa to anyone who would like their pets to be treated with the utmost love and affection that they get at home while being groomed . She cares for all animals as if they where her own.

Katie has been grooming my dogs for about a year now and WOW what can I say she shows such love for her job and for me my dogs are my children. The way Katie acts toward my dogs shows she has a passion for what she does. Of course her prices are very reasonable I would recommend her for any of your pet grooming needs. My oversized crazy cat looked so handsome and fluffy after being groomed by Katie! I am thrilled to find someone who doesn't overcharge and can brave my furry boy! I know how hard grooming him is because he throws a temper tantrum just bushing his long fur. I will definately be going back and already referred my friends here! I know my babies are in caring and gentle hands with Katie.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes! I love to learn new things about grooming. It makes grooming much easier when you are up to date with the latest tools and techniques. I go to a trade show every September in Hershey, PA and buy the latest equipment and take seminars. I am also a part of a large online community of groomers that answer questions and chat about how to improve your skills.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I offer one on one pet grooming for my customers. The biggest thing that sets me apart from the rest is that I do one on one grooming. Your pet/pets will be the only ones with me during their groom. That allows me to focus soley on your pet(s). Also, since I am the only groomer here, you can count on a personal business relationship with me. I will always be the one grooming your pets so you will feel comfortable knowing that they are in my hands.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Check references. A big one is google. Most people that leave reviews are completely honest and tell you exactly how they enjoyed their service. Also ask friends where they have been and how they liked their experience with several different groomers.
