- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a nominal amount ($100 for writing services, $100 for statistical data analysis, and $200 for business consulting) for the first 30-minute call. Payment will be due via QuickBooks prior to the initial call. Should you choose to utilize my services going forward, I will credit you the amount of this fee on the first invoice for work performed. After that, I can work with you on either a per-hour basis or on a retainer, depending on what is best for your requirements. I will always provide you with a formal written quote for any work beyond the initial consultation. I can also work under a formal consulting agreement which I can draft. If the work is of a proprietary nature, we can execute a non-disclosure agreement which I can also provide. Invoicing (via QuickBooks) can be done daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or the entire engagement can be paid for upfront. For shorter-term engagements, a deposit will be required prior to the commencement of any work. Payment terms vary depending on the job. I accept payment via QuickBooks (preferred), Stripe, Apple Pay, Venmo, or PayPal.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is to understand your business, the markets and environments that you operate, look for existing strengths and weaknesses in your business, and then help you devise a strategy to both stabilize and grow/manage your business going forward. My goal is to think outside the box on how to overcome the challenges holding back your business and help you achieve the growth you seek. I utilize accounting/financial tools, statistical/data analytics methods, market/trend/technology/competitor scouting, intellectual property/licensing, HR/hiring/staffing strategies, and strategic mapping methods.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a PhD in physics from an Ivy League University. I also have executive MBA from a top 20 University. For my MBA I concentrated on strategy, finance, and marketing. I also have a certificate in international business from the IMD in Lausanne, CH.
