We spent countless hours trying to find ideas for a good Logo to represent our Youth Sports program. Thanks to the great folks at Haywood Visual Design, the Columbia Saints Youth Sports Organization now has a recognizable and wonderful Logo!

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Our most requested service is web design followed by Twitter background designs, then Logo design.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. My advice is to make sure that you have a good understanding of what the artist can provide for you. I find that communication is essential in making sure that each party understands what they are getting.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Lots of time and planning go into creating websites, logos, or graphic design. The end product is amazing.

As designers, the software that we use is always being updated, so learn, learn, learn.

If you go on what you learned in college 4 years ago, you may need to go back because technology has changed at a speedy pace.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Our work stands out from others for the simple fact that we are passionate about what we do and not just for the money.

We allow for our customers to pay what they can afford and not just because we want to make a quick buck.

We use everyday landscapes such as natural surroundings (the harbor) seasons, animals, and photography for our inspiration. This translates into more creative design inspirations

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Working at home unless I need to go to the office or meet a client.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. How much do you charge for.....
How long does it take....
Do you barter.....

Our answer: we charge what you can afford provided that you have done your research and can bring us estimates. We'll meet you half way.

We work fast, so usually under 4 days for a complete project

Yes, sometimes we barter but its not a common occurence.
